Jerry is a long standing member of the firm Grosboll Tice Barr & Courtney and its predecessor firms for 47 years beginning his practice in 1967 after graduating from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture in 1962 and the University of Illinois College of Law in 1965.

Denise has been a member of the firm Grosboll Tice Barr & Courtney and its predecessor firms for over 12 years beginning her practice in the summer of 2004. She is a native of central Illinois and attended as an undergraduate at the University of Illinois Springfield and graduated from the Southern Illinois School of Law in 2003.

Steve was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, graduating from Lanphier High School before attending Lincoln Land Community College and completing his Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with a middle school endorsement from Eastern Illinois University. Steve attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law in Norman, Oklahoma, receiving his juris doctorate in 2015.
